Intro to Architectural Plans – $95

This course provides an introduction to architectural plans for a housing development. Sessions will describe the design process, including the architectural phases of schematic design, design development, and construction drawings. Actual plans will be reviewed as well as the building permit/city process.
Course Length: Approximately 3 – 4 Hours

John Kaye has over 30 years experience within the land development and homebuilding industries, having held senior management positions with The Irvine Company, Koll Real Estate Group, and Brookfield Homes. As a developer, John has overseen the land acquisition, entitlements, and development of master planned communities, residential tracts, urban infill sites, and land assemblages. His experience and skill sets include land acquisition, land brokerage, project management, market analysis, finance, and strategic planning.

Mark Kiner, AIA, is a Principal with the renowned firm of Bassenian Lagoni Architects. His architectural design experience ranges from entry level housing to large scale resorts in the United States and the Pacific Rim. His international experience includes vacation ownership and destination resorts in China, Korea, The Philippines, and the Middle East. Mark is a graduate of California Polytechnic University and is a registered architect in 10 states.
