This course provides an introduction to the land acquisition function within the homebuilding and residential development industry. Sessions will describe the various discipline knowledge and skill sets required by a land acquisition professional to source new opportunities, conduct market and financial analyses, negotiate contracts, lead due diligence efforts, and close transactions. Samples of offers, purchase contracts, and due diligence materials will be reviewed, with a complete overview of the entire land acquisition process.
