Intro to U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service – $39

USFWThis course will provide an introduction to the US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), providing an overview of how USFWS jurisdiction is determined. Examples of jurisdiction will be explained, as well as how the Army Corps of Engineers coordinates with USFWS through Section 7 Consultations and Biological Opinions. Some examples of species and habitat will be reviewed.

Scott Crawford is the Biology Group Manager for Amec Foster Wheeler and has over 20 years experience managing and coordinating project activity with the Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, California Department Fish & Wildlife, and the Regional Water Quality Control Boards. Scott’s experience includes plant and wildlife surveys, wetland delineations, and consultations with all agencies. His clients have included major homebuilders, land developers, and public agencies.
