Intro to Land Brokerage – $95
This course provides an introduction to the land brokerage business, providing an overview of the why the service is needed and the value provided to developers and homebuilders. Sessions will describe the process and techniques for finding land available for sale and matching up with motivated land buyers. A sample land information package will be reviewed, describing the key information need by prospective buyers to assess their interest and land value. As well, a sample Letter of Intent will be reviewed and discussed, indicating how offers are presented to sellers.

John Kaye has over 30 years experience within the land development and homebuilding industries, having held senior management positions with The Irvine Company, Koll Real Estate Group, and Brookfield Homes. As a developer, John has overseen the land acquisition, entitlements, and development of master planned communities, residential tracts, urban infill sites, and land assemblages. His experience and skill sets include land acquisition, land brokerage, project management, market analysis, finance, and strategic planning.
