Course Description:
Land development and homebuilding has many inherent risks that can impact the economic viability of a project. The due diligence process encompasses a thorough vetting of many issues to reduce and mitigate potential project risks. This session will address the following due diligence topics:
- Title and Encumbrances
- Soils and Civil Engineering
- Zoning & Entitlements
- Grading & Site Improvement Costs
- Market/Product Analysis
- Financial Analysis
Instructors:
The session will be led by John Kaye with over 30 years experience within the land development and homebuilding industries, having held senior management positions with The Irvine Company, Koll Real Estate Group, and Brookfield Homes. Additional expert guest speakers to join portions of the session.
