Overview of Homebuilding
Course Description:
This course provides an overview of the entire homebuilding process, from the land acquisition through the final customer service for homebuyers. The session will include brief overviews of each of the major phases or functions, including:
- Land Acquisition
- Entitlements/Permits
- Site Development
- House Construction
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance & Accounting
- Customer Service/Bond Exoneration
Instructors:
The sessions will be led by John Kaye, bringing 30 years of experience within the land and homebuilding industries while holding senior management positions with The Irvine Company, Koll Real Estate Group, and Brookfield Homes.
